A day in peace, an unclenched fist.
Oh how I’d love a total bliss.
To stop and see the world and be
A single living entity.
With grace and poise to block out noise
And not to have to deal with boys.
Except for one ‘cause he’s my favorite
But even he just may not fit
Into my place of total bliss.
Where life is me and God and this
The time and space where things just fit
Together in harmony and sing the song
Where all can be and just belong.
So yes my total bliss is this:
When tempest roars and is dismissed
Because my soul is free and calm
And Earth it seems is in my palm.
I breathe and know I will survive
‘Cause, man, it’s good to be alive.
