Horror Story

Mirrors
I know you hear that. You pretend you don’t know what’s going on, like I’m the only one but I know you know. That noise, a thudding noise. A terrible cacophony as It grows louder and louder screeching! Vibrating the whole room as It moves closer. Faster and faster It moves toward me. Help! Someone help! Don’t just stand there, I know you see It! It’s almost right before us. Racing, racing It’s running now, trying with all Its might to pursue me. There’s no time to run, there’s no time to hide. As It moves closer my heart beats. It’s going to crash into me. Someone help! As It moves closer, I find myself stuck in an uncontrollable agony. I can’t move, I can’t think, I can’t breath. All I see is my own reflection. Where are you? Why won’t you help me?
As the room grows warmer, I’m drowning in perspiration, wondering why I’m the only one. Don’t you feel the room boiling? It moves closer, loving to taunt me. I've seen It before but this time is different; this time, It is going in for the kill. I know because I can see it in It’s dark eyes that are darting at me with an almost fearful anticipation. Why won’t any of you help me? Can’t you see It trying to devour me? My face is growing red from anger, why doesn't anyone try to stop It? The screeching, growing louder, that It echoes makes my body tremble violently. You’re just standing there, spectating my little dance with the devil. Is this all entertaining to you? Do you like to watch me suffer? Crash! It hits me and precipitates to the floor in a million pieces. What if I told you that I am you? Would you believe me or trust in your mirrors? Clean your mirror, then look again.
